UP Health System - Marquette is pleased to bring the latest innovation in robotic technology for surgeries to the area, further enhancing the level of quality and safety provided to patients.
How Robotic-Assisted Surgery Works
From the command console, the surgeon performs the procedure by controlling multi-jointed, wristed instruments while looking through a magnified view using a high-definition camera. This technology ensures an extra layer of precision and accuracy. All surgical instruments are inserted through minimal incisions.
Advantages of Robotic-Assisted Surgery
This minimally invasive surgical system can reduce damage to surrounding tissues, improving surgical outcomes and allowing for faster patient recovery.
