Support Groups -

The support group at Marquette General Health System is open to patients who have had bariatric surgery whether at MGH or other centers, as well as those who are considering bariatric surgery. 

Bariatric team members are present to discuss issues such as nutrition, post surgical issues, concerns, and lifestyle changes.  The team may include physicians, psychologists, registered dietitians, nurses, and others.  Occasionally a guest speaker will lecture on bariatric-related topics. 

This groups meets every second Wednesday of the month from 5:00-6:30 p.m. EST.  Video conferencing is available upon request.

Support Group (the second Wednesday of month meeting) will NOT be done either at War Memorial or Chippewa Medical.
