Pre-Bariatric Nutrition Counseling

For clients that have attended Education Day for Bariatric Surgery, you will be stopping by our reception desk at the Weight Loss Center to schedule your first nutrition appointment. Prior to your surgery you will be required to complete 3, one on one, nutrition appointments and a pre-surgical nutrition appointment with a Registered Dietitian.

First appointment will consist of a Nutritional Assessment and education on the importance of protein in your diet.

Second appointment will consist of education on your Vitamin and Mineral Supplement daily needs.

Third appointment will consist of education on Fluid and Hydration daily needs and education on the diet you will be following postoperatively.

Pre-surgical appointment will review these important nutrition topics and prepare you for success with your post-surgical diets.
