| The family fit program has been a great experience for me and the family in many ways. At the very least it has shown the kids that we can all do something together that is not only healthy but can be a lot of fun. Personally, it has given me a vehicle to make exercise a habit and I think having the social connection to those who read about us, the other family, and your team was a good motivating factor adding a level of accountability. |

My outlook on life has changed due to feeling better about myself, weight loss, my overall fitness level has increased to where I
have wanted to be for the past several years. |
| I think it's been nice to have feed back from coworkers and friends who read about our exploits in the paper, some of whom are already trying to make their own healthy changes. It's also helped me rethink what "exercise" can be besides running on a treadmill or going to the gym. Been working on the goal of just exercising, even if it's just a little each day. |

The Strong Bodies class is perfect for me. It is a full body workout which is completed in less than an hour! The first time I attended this session, I literally thought I was going to die. Each class got better and the soreness went away as my body was conditioning. NOW, I make it a point to attend every Thursday...I look forward to keeping up with this class this summer and beyond.
Truthfully, the sound of a triathlon scares me. I know that I could not do the entire event alone, because swimming just isn't my thing!
Knowing I could participate as a “team” family I reconsidered things. I look forward to working as a family because this will show how well we can work together and cheer each other on. |
