It is important to receive good prenatal care from a physician
as early in your pregnancy as possible. You have the choice
of several board-certified obstetricians and family physicians
who provide prenatal care and delivery services at Marquette
General Hospital.

Caring for your baby doesn't stop when you leave the hospital.
You have many years ahead to enjoy your child's stages of
development. Take advantage of one or several of our exciting
parenting programs tailored to those stages, from birth through
17 years. Enjoy the opportunity to share and socialize with
other parents as you learn about growth and development, nutrition,
discipline, skills for positive parenting.

Please register early in your pregnancy for all prenatal classes. Our programs don’t stop when you leave the hospital. Check out the variety of programs available for the whole family.

Playgroups will be starting up again! This year we will have an infant playgroup meeting at MGH in the Family Birthing Center Classroom on Mondays from 10am-11am. The cost is $10 per family/month. There will be songs, bonding activities, and a great opportunity to meet other new moms. Each session will include topics of concern for new parents, including guest presenters. More Information

An Infant, Toddler, & Preschooler Playgroup will be meeting at the UP Children's Museum from 10-11am and 6-7pm on Tuesday. The cost of this will be $12 per family/month. Children have an opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills while enjoying the hands-on learning environment. Snacks, music, parachute games, and finger plays are a few of the fun activities families will enjoy. Playgroups start on Sept. 12. Call to register.
