Perinatal Outreach
The MGH Women's
& Children's Center Perinatal Outreach Program works with Upper
Peninsula's community hospitals to provide perinatal education for
physicians and nurses, keeping them abreast of current information
regarding high-risk perinatal care. Physician lectures and presentations
on a variety of perinatal issues are available for physician and
staff groups. Specific staff training on issues such as emergency
deliveries, newborn stabilization, and neonatal transports, is also
available. CME credit is offered for most of the programs.

Videoteleconferencing
Many of the
perinatal outreach programs, including physician lectures and staff
training, are available via teleconferencing. In addition, parent,
physician, and ancillary service consultations in the Specialty
Clinics and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit can be performed by
teleconference. If you would like to utilize this service for a
