The Pediatric Unit at Marquette General Hospital provides comprehensive pediatric inpatient care as well as outpatient "short-stay"care.  The unit is staffed by pediatricians, family pracititioners, pediatric cardiologist, and a team of nurses specially trained to take care of children ages infant to 17 years.

Parents are encouraged to spend the night with their children during their hospitalization. Roll-a-way beds and rocker recliners are provided. In-room videos, Super Nintendo, and a playroom are available for children to help them feel comfortable.

A variety of local physician specialists are available to treat children with cleft lip/palate, hematology/oncology diagnoses, as well as many other outpatient cases at the Multidisciplinary Specialty Clinic.
