Carolyn is a happy transplant (a/k/a “Trooper”) to the U.P. Carolyn has worked in community health, law, higher education and fund development and hails from New York.
She earned a Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) degree from the University of Michigan, holds a law degree (J.D.) from Hofstra University School of Law and an undergraduate B.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
Carolyn joined UPHEC in 2005 and serves as Program Director for the Area Geriatric Education Scholars (AGES) program which provides area youth with pre-career experiences working with older patients at long-term care sites.
Carolyn is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine’s Family Medicine Department.
