Medical Student Rural Site Opportunities
Later in the curriculum, after completing the required clerkships, students are assigned to one of several sites throughout the Upper Peninsula for an eight-week rural family medicine clerkship.

The students spend eight weeks in one of these rural sites, working one-on-one with a family medicine physician, with an emphasis on family and community medicine.
