Pedestrian Safety Tips from Safe Kids Worldwide

··· Don’t cross the street alone if younger than age 10.
··· Cross at an intersection with a crosswalk if possible.
··· Always try to walk on the sidewalk. If no sidewalks or paths, walk facing road traffic.
··· Look left, right and left again before crossing the street.
··· Walk, don’t run, into the street. Always keep looking while crossing.
··· Dress in bright colors or wear reflective materials so drivers can easily see you.
