Marquette General Health System Lab & Pre-Admission Testing Center is an area concentrating on servicing outpatients of all types. Our services include lab draws, 12 lead EKG services and hospital admission/registration. Services we have added are pre-operative surgical education and evaluation by a registered nurse.

 

At the Pre-Admission Testing Center we are dedicated to improving services to our patients. Please stop by and see our facility in the Peninsula Medical Center Suite 136.

 

We have recently expanded our Pre-Admission services to include those patients who cannot physically visit the PAT Center. The new area is referred to as Advanced Registration and Education (ARE) located with the Patient Access Department on the main MGHS campus. This new area collects all patient information including H&P's, orders, and medical records in preparation for patient arrival to the hospital.

 

Registered nurses review lab work and contact patients for a health screening, patient education, and pre-procedure instructions regarding diet and medication. This is another effort to make the Pre-Admission process as smooth as possible for MGHS patients.

Marquette General Scheduling Center schedules for most Ancillary testing done at MGH.

The departments the Scheduling Center schedules are:

 

- Radiology Diagnostic

- Radiology Special Procedures

- Ultrasound

- Nuclear Medicine

- Pulmonary Functions

- Neurophysiology

- Cardiographic Services

- Cath Lab

- Endoscopy

 

The Scheduling Center does require a written order prior to scheduling an procedure. This written order may be faxed to the Scheduling Center at 225-4479

 

Ways to Schedule Appointments

 

Patients may walk-In to Suite 136 and schedule themselves and pre-register at the same time from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

 

Patients may phone the Scheduling Center and schedule their own appointments Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 5:00pm

 

Your Physician's office may call and schedule your appointment for you
