Teleradiology

Teleradiology uses computer networking to connect regional hospitals with radiologists.

Images such as CT and MRI can be sent by computer link for rapid viewing in critical and emergent situations. The teleradiology network is connected to the radiologists' homes so no time is lost in viewing images on weekends or during the night.

	Emergent and urgent imaging consultation for Upper Peninsula hospitals in conjunction with attending radiologists who have credentials at MGHS
	Consultation with Marquette General Neurosurgery on cases, which may involve neurosurgery
	On-site training of teleradiology system
	Twenty-four hour customer service support line by MGHS Information Technology Department (906) 225-4788.
