Position Statement: This job description is enacted as needed for medical applications of the Upper Peninsula Telehealth Network. The Telehealth Clinician is responsible for the coordination and follow through of the medical applications and assisting as needed during the consultations.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: As appropriate to clinical event
Preferred Skills: 3-5 years clinical experience
Excellent patient assessment skills
Proven critical thinking and anticipatory skills
Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
Fax and copier skills
Required Certification: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan, BLS certification
Physical Demands: Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 pounds)
Frequently push/pull or move/lift heavy equipment/supplies
Frequently reach, stoop, bend, kneel and crouch
Working Conditions: Subject to multiple demands and interruptions
Occasional subject to irregular hours
Pressure due to multiple calls and frequent inquiries
Occasional exposure to the risk of bloodborne diseases
Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
Exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, and illnesses)
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
