Position
Summary: The
Telehealth Site Coordinator represents their institution and the
Upper Peninsula Telehealth Network in assurance of quality telehealth
activities. This person shall be responsible for scheduling telehealth
consultations, video conferences, promoting video conference activities,
preparing the video conference system (VCS) for events, minor troubleshooting,
and contributing to records and databases.
Accountabilities/Competencies**
1.
Schedules
video conference connections and events . (1,5)
2. Assures educational events
are promoted. (1,5).
3. Assures appropriate equipment
is available and functioning. (1,2,5).
4. Facilitates connections
and events as needs dictate. (1,5).
5. Facilitates medical applications
as needs dictate. (1,5,8).
6. Assists in data collection,
evaluation, reporting, and performance improvement activities as
they apply to telehealth. (1,5)
7. Performs other related duties
as assigned or requested.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Post
high school vocational or specialized training and two years experience
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Skills: Excellent
human relations and oral/written communication skills, Computer skills,
Fax and copier skills
Physical Demands: Moderate
physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 pounds)
Frequently
push/pull or move/lift heavy equipment/supplies
Frequently
reach, stoop, bend, kneel and crouch
Working Conditions: Subject
to multiple demands and interruptions
Occasional
subject to irregular hours
Pressure
due to multiple calls and frequent inquiries
