Medical Case Conference

Video conferencing technology allows confidential live interactive discussions about patient cases.

These cases are discussed in meetings such as our weekly “Tumor Board” which is a group of oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologist, pathologist, case managers, and primary care physicians who discuss individual cases and develop a comprehensive treatment plan.

These case conferences require teleradiology (remote viewing of images and films), telepathology (remote viewing of specimens) and live interactive discussion with multi-speciality practitioners.
