FamilyCare
Doctors, the outpatient home of the Residency Program, offers
a wide variety of outpatient procedures for patients. The equipment
available in our office, along with faculty expertise, gives
residents
ample opportunity to develop many procedural skills.
Every Friday a faculty physician and a resident are scheduled for a half day of outpatient procedures. This offers an opportunity for residents to get hands-on experience.
Several
times each year, an entire afternoon is devoted to Procedure
Workshops held in the office.
Hands-on training with materials, equipment, and faculty
guidance results in residents
gaining skills directly applicable to daily outpatient care.
