The Family Medicine Residency in Marquette, Michigan, is a rural, community based, university affiliated training program based at a 315-bed regional medical center. We are just a stone's throw from Lake Superior, the largest body of fresh water in the world. Marquette General Health System has been involved in resident education for more than 30 years and currently sponsors both osteopathic and allopathic family medicine residency programs.

	Residency Contribution to Childhood Immunization "Best Practices" Honored The Marquette Family Medicine Residency Program received the “Best Practice” Immunization Award from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)/Foundation Wyeth for their work in increasing the childhood immunization rates in the Family Care Doctors clinic over a two year period.
