Aquatic Therapy - adaptive exercise and therapy

 

Aquatic therapy involves therapeutic treatment by using water. Aquatic therapy is an impact-free way to rehabilitate and exercise sore muscles and joints.

 

Clients receive strengthening and range-of-motion, muscular relaxation, therapeutic exercise, and gait training. Aquatic therapy is ideal for patients with weight-bearing difficulties, neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, pediatric concerns, rheumatic disease, myofascial syndrome, and lymphedema. Aquatic therapy requires a physician's referral.
