| Aquatic
Therapy - adaptive exercise and therapy
Aquatic therapy
involves therapeutic treatment by using water. Aquatic therapy is
an impact-free way to rehabilitate and exercise sore muscles and
joints.
Clients receive
strengthening and range-of-motion, muscular relaxation, therapeutic
exercise, and gait training. Aquatic therapy is ideal for patients
with weight-bearing difficulties, neurological conditions, orthopedic
conditions, pediatric concerns, rheumatic disease, myofascial syndrome,
and lymphedema. Aquatic therapy requires a physician's referral.
