Marquette General Health System is pleased to collaborate with Grand View Health System in Ironwood to provide full-time specialty services to the people of the Gogebic Range. Patients with heart disease, cancer, or neurological conditions can see full-time specialists at Grand View Clinic.

Supportive services for cancer patients at Grand View Hospital and Grand View Clinic.

The Upper Michigan Cancer Center at Marquette General, in collaboration with Grand View Health System, provide a part-time medical oncologist/hematologist, who practices at U.P. Hematology/Oncology-Gogebic Range, located at Grand View Clinic. For appointments, please call 906-932-1500, extension 6486.

Supportive services for neuroscience patients at Grand View Hospital and
Grand View Clinic.

The Upper Michigan Neuroscience Center and Grand View Health System provide a neurologist, Dr. Khalil M. Nasrallah, MD. For appointments, please cal 906-932-1500 or 906-932-1500 x6364.

Each month, Visiting Specialists' Clinics are provided by physicians in the specialists listed in the Visiting Specialists' Calendar.

Neuroscience
Conditions treated by a neurologist include:
* Muscle disorders

Pain (especially headache)

 
* Epilepsy  
* Neuritis  
* Brain and spinal cord tumors  
* Multiple sclerosis  
* Parkinson's disease  
* Stroke  
* Myasthenia gravis, and muscular dystrophy  
* EMG + NCV Testing for conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Neuropathy
* Patients may need a neurology consultation if they are experiencing dizziness, seizures, blackouts, numbness, tingling, weakness, paralysis or lack of coordination.
* Patients with diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, or cancer may also be referred to a neurologist.

Neurologists may consult in the treatment of chronic pain.
