Weight management for youth to be discussed at free MGHS lecture

Weight management for youth 17 years of age and younger is the subject of a Marquette General Health System free lecture scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, in the MGH Conference Center.

Dr. John Bartlett, a board certified internal medicine and pediatric medicine specialist, will speak on modifying youth lifestyle behaviors to promote weight management. The title of his presentation is “Trimming Our Kids.”

The event will be held in Conference Room 1 at Marquette General.

Dr. Bartlett, a member of Marquette Internal Medicine Associates, PC, and on staff at Marquette General, will discuss what steps can be taken to help promote a healthy lifestyle.

The MGH Conference Center can be accessed from the East Entrance on College Avenue. Interested attendees can also park in the parking ramp, take the third-floor Skywalk to the South Campus, and follow the signs to the Conference Center.
