July 18, 2007 Neldberg-Weesen named Program Director for three MGHS Services Registered Nurse Laurie Neldberg-Weesen, program director for the Marquette General Neuroscience Center, has also been named Program Director for the Rehabilitation Center and the Human Motion Institute at Marquette General Health System. Neldberg-Weesen has been employed at MGHS for the past 33 years. She has worked as a surgical, orthopedic and infectious disease nurse, as well as a hospital nursing supervisor. She has also served as director of Community Relations and Marketing and of Admitting and Customer Service. Neldberg-Weesen earned her RN at St. Luke’s School of Nursing and her BSN at Northern Michigan University. She is involved with the Rotary Club of Marquette, the Noquemanon Trail Network and is chair of the Marquette Township Recreation Committee. Neldberg-Weesen currently resides in Marquette Township with her husband, Doug, and has two sons, Drew and Tyler.
