Financial need is not a consideration when awarding scholarship
money. The scholarships are awarded for the 2004-05 year and will
be sent directly to the institution each student will be attending.
The scholarship winners are grateful for the award.
“The money awarded will be put to prudent use. Next year, I will be attending
Michigan State University’s Honors College, and some day, I hope to be
an orthopedic surgeon,” Frazier said. “This scholarship is a boost
toward that future.”
“The money will go a long way in helping me pay for college,” Whitfield
said. “I am thankful for the scholarship.”
Added Robinson: “This contribution will help me in more ways than I could
ever say.”
