Marquette General Health System to host Trauma Conference

Marquette General Health System will host a Trauma Conference on Friday, September 5, from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the MGH Conference Center. A pre-conference dinner and lecture will be held at the Waterfront Restaurant on Thursday, September 4,
from 6 – 8 p.m.

Experts in the field of trauma from MGHS, along with others from Beaumont, Blodgett and Munson hospitals, will present on current issues, trends and practice changes impacting delivery of care to the trauma patient.

The conference is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and other healthcare professional such as paramedics, EMTs and medical first responders who manage the care of trauma patients. The fee to attend the main conference is $60 and the fee to attend the pre-conference dinner and lecture is $20. The fee to attend both the main conference and pre-conference dinner and lecture is $80. The main conference fee includes continental breakfast, refreshments, a luncheon and conference handouts. The pre-conference dinner fee includes dinner and a lecture on spine injury in the elderly.

The MGH Conference Center is located on College Avenue. Attendees are asked to enter the hospital through the East Entrance canopy and take the elevator to the third floor and exit to the right.
