Crimmins Elected to State Healthcare Board

Catherine Crimmins was elected Membership Director of the Michigan Association of Healthcare Advocates (MAHA) during their 57th Annual Meeting & Educational Institute held recently at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

A native of Marquette, Cathy is past president of Marquette General Health System’s Volunteer Organization and currently serves as Gift Shop and Coffee Shop Chairperson. She has been a member of this volunteer organization for more than 25 years and has served on the Upper Peninsula District Board in various capacities included three terms as President.

Cathy is a retired teacher and paralegal and is married to Roger Crimmins, President of A. Lindberg & Sons, Inc. Their two daughters, Katie and Rebecca, are students at NMU.

MAHA provides education and leadership training to MAHA members. Currently, there are 115 hospital auxiliaries in the state that have provided more than 3,127,674 hours of service to their respective hospitals this past year. In addition, these 30,024 auxilians/volunteers have raised over $9.6 million to benefit Michigan hospitals. More information on MAHA may be accessed through www.mahaonline.org.
