Dermatologist offers free skin screenings at U.P. Hematology Oncology Associates of Marquette May 2
Dr. Milton Soderberg, Dr. Jennifer Baldwin and Dr. Dennis Herzog, board-certified dermatologists on staff at Marquette General Health System, will offer brief examinations of unusual moles or lesions for signs of cancer on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The skin screenings are free of charge and offered by appointment.
Co-sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology and the Marquette General Cancer Center, the screenings will be held at the U.P. Hematology Oncology Associates of Marquette, located in suite 322 at the Upper Peninsula Medical Center.

Marquette General Cancer Center to hold Free Breast Cancer Screening May 6
Screening is free of charge and appointments are required
The Marquette General Cancer Center will hold a free breast cancer screening on Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Specialty Clinic at Marquette General Hospital.
Women will be seen in 30-minute appointments by either an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Breast Care Coordinator. Shirley Jackson, who is coordinating the screening, is an advanced oncology certified nurse and has certification in breast health. A breast health history will be taken and personalized breast self-exam instruction will be offered. The Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool (Gail model) will be used. This is an interactive tool designed by scientists at the National Cancer Institute and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project to estimate a woman’s risk of developing invasive breast cancer.
The Specialty Clinic is located on the 6th floor of the Robert C. Neldberg building at Marquette General Hospital. There are three different ways to access the Specialty Clinic:
1) To access the Specialty Clinic from the Parking Deck take the Parking Deck Elevator to the 3rd floor entrance, go straight down the hall to the Robert C. Neldberg Building, turn left just past the escalators, take the N or O elevator to the 6th floor and follow the signs to the clinic.
2) To access the Specialty Clinic from the Main Entrance (valet parking is available at the main entrance of the RCN Building) take the N or O elevators to the 6th floor and follow the signs to the clinic.
3) To access the Specialty Clinic from Parking Lot A enter through the RCN Building through the main entrance doors under the canopy, take the N or O elevator to the 6th floor and follow the signs to the clinic.

Co-sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology and the Marquette General Cancer Center, the screenings will be held Doctors Park Family Physicians in Escanaba.
