Twenty-two Marquette General Obstetric and Neonatal Registered Nurses earn RNC Certification

Twenty-two Marquette General Obstetric and Neonatal Registered Nurses have earned RNC certification through The National Certification Corporation. The NCC is a not for profit organization that provides a national credentialing program for nurses, physicians and other licensed health care personnel.
Certification is awarded to nurses in the obstetric, gynecologic, neonatal and telephone nursing specialties, and certificates of added qualification are awarded in the subspecialty areas of electronic fetal monitoring, breastfeeding, gynecologic health care and menopause.
Those nurses who received certification in Inpatient Obstetrical Nursing include: Carrie Bradley, RNC; Jean Brown, RNC; Deb Ducsay, RNC; Sue Johnson-Taylor, RNC; Jessica Luke (NOT PICTURED), RNC; Heidi Moore, RNC; Rachel Nye, RNC; Judy Rudness, RNC; and Erika Schaefer, RNC;

NCC’s certification program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and the accreditation body of the National Organization for Competency Assurance. This accreditation means that NCC’s certification program was subjected to rigorous third-party review and found to meet “the highest national voluntary standards for private certification.”
