Marquette General, Bay Cliff to host weekend retreat for those who have had bariatric surgery
Marquette General Surgical Weight Loss will be hosting a weekend retreat for those who have had bariatric surgery, May 9-11 at Bay Cliff Health Camp, located in Big Bay, Mich.
The weekend retreat is designed to renew commitment to a healthy lifestyle. The retreat will include workshops on ways to improve fitness, nutrition and other enjoyable activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. Specific programs on maintaining weight loss for a lifetime will also be offered.
The weekend retreat is open to anyone who has had bariatric surgery, not just those who have had bariatric surgery at Marquette General.
There will be guest speakers, entertainment and the following workshops: fitness, cooking, weight maintenance, massage, beading, knitting, biking, water aerobics and building twig furniture.
The cost is $120 and enrollment is limited. The cost includes meals, lodging and education materials. The beading workshop requires a $20 lab fee.
