MGHS, U.P. Rehabilitation Medicine welcome Physiatrist
Physiatrist Dr. Ismail Alhamrawy has joined U.P. Rehabilitation Medicine Associates, P.C., and the medical staff at Marquette General Health System. Dr. Alhamrawy joins Dr. Carl Eiben, AAPM, AAPM&R, of U.P. Rehabilitation Medicine Associates, P.C.
Dr. Ismail Alhamrawy
As a physiatrist, Dr. Alhamrawy provides medical and rehabilitative evaluations and management for acute and chronic pain syndromes and musculoskeletal disorders. He also provides rehabilitation for neurological disorders, such as traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, stroke and Parkinson’s Disease.
Dr. Alhamrawy completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at State University of New York in Brooklyn. He completed his internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and earned his medical degree from the University of Tanta, Egypt. Dr. Alhamrawy has been trained in molecular imaging for diagnosis of osteoporosis, musculoskeletal, and neurological disorders using state of the art PET and SEPCT scans.
