MGHS radiologist
to speak at free public lecture on Thursday, April 29
Dr.
Steve Min, a radiologist with Premier Medical Imaging, P.C.,
and on staff at Marquette General Health System,
will be the guest speaker at a free public lecture scheduled for
7 p.m. Thursday, April 29, in Conference Room 1 at Marquette General
Hospital.

A board-certified radiologist, Dr. Min will speak on Positron
Emission Tomography (PET) scanning at Marquette General. With
PET, physicians
at Marquette General
can examine the whole patient, detecting small, cancerous tumors in the body
and subtle changes in the brain and heart. It’s also extremely accurate
in pinpointing the “stages” of cancer.
Dr. Min completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a rotating internship
at the Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital Medical Center/St. John’s Health
System in Pontiac.
He earned his medical degree from the Oklahoma State University College of
Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Okla. He owns a graduate degree from the University
of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
To access the Conference Center, enter the East Entrance on College Avenue
and take the elevator to the third floor. Signs will then direct attendees
to Conference Room 1.
