Prostate Cancer
Support Group to meet on Thursday, Oct. 7
The
Prostate Cancer Support Group will meet from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on
Thursday, Oct. 7, in the Presque Isle/Mount
Marquette Conference Rooms at Marquette General Hospital.
Karen Nelson, a social worker on staff at Marquette General, will
speak on “Healthy
Coping.” Participators will learn how to delineate healthy and unhealthy
ways of dealing with the stress and anxiety that usually accompanies a cancer
diagnosis.
Spouses and friends are welcome to attend the meeting. Breakfast will be provided,
free of charge.
The Prostate Cancer Support Group meets the first Thursday of each month at
