joins Premier Medical Imaging, P.C. in Marquette
Neuroradiologist
Dr. Douglas W. Morton has joined Premier Medical Imaging, P.C.,
in
Marquette and is on staff at
Marquette General Health System.

Dr. Douglas W. Morton
Board certified in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Morton joins Drs.
Todd Bostwick, Jeffrey Wilseck and Steve Min at Premier Medical
Imaging, P.C. He has extensive
training in MR/CT scanning of the head/neck/spine, cerebral/spinal angiography
and CT-guided biopsy.
Dr. Morton comes to the Upper Peninsula from Kalispell, Mont., where he worked
in private practice as a radiologist. He relocated to Montana after instructing
neuroradiology in Seattle at the University of Washington. There, he was
a neuroradiology fellow for two years.
Prior to completing his residency at the University of Washington in 2001,
Dr. Morton finished an internship at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
Dr. Morton earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University
in 1995 after obtaining his Ph.D. in neurobiology from the same university.
He
also holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University
and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University
of Maine.
Aside from his dissertation, he has published 11 articles and 13 abstracts.
He also has one patent.
Dr. Morton is a member of six professional organizations, including the American
College of Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
