joins U.P. Digestive Disease Associates, P.C., in Marquette
Gastroenterologist
Jon Potter, DO, has joined U.P. Digestive Disease Associates,
P.C., in the Peninsula Medical
Center and is on staff at Marquette General Health System.

Gastroenterologists provide diagnosis and treatment of adult
disorders of the digestive system, including trouble with swallowing,
heartburn, chest pain
not due to heart disease, ulcers, problems with digestion and elimination,
and symptoms occurring after surgery.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Potter comes to Marquette after
completing a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical
College of Wisconsin
in Milwaukee. Hepatology is the branch of medical science concerned with
the liver and its diseases.
He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation
after earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College
of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Potter holds a bachelor’s degree in biology
from Western Illinois University.
Dr. Potter is a member of a number of professional organizations, including
the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal
Endoscopy and the American Medical Association.
