MGHS neurologist speaking at public lecture in Gwinn
Dr. Roman Politi will speak on memory loss
Dr. Roman Politi,
a board-certified neurologist who serves as medical director
of the Memory Diagnostic
Center of Upper Michigan, will present a public lecture to educate older
adults and their caregivers about memory loss and normal aging,
along with the signs, symptoms and need for early diagnosis of
Alzheimer’s disease.

Dr. Politi, a member of Neurology
Associates of Marquette and
on staff at Marquette General Hospital, specializes in the
diagnosis
and treatment of neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s
disease, stroke and Alzheimer’s disease. He’s a member
of the American Academy of Neurology.
The lecture will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the
Tailwinds Grill & Bar, located at 800 East M-94 in Gwinn. Lunch
will be available for $5. Reservations are required by calling

Dr. Politi earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan
Medical School where he also completed a neurology residency.
He also had an internship at Northwestern Medical School in Evanston,
Ill. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of
Michigan.
