Marquette General Women’s and Children’s Center offers play group for parents/children
The Marquette General Women’s and Children’s Center offers a play group at the UP Children’s Museum every Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Parents and their children (infant through age five) will have an opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills while enjoying the hands-on learning environment at the UP Children's Museum. Music, finger plays, parachute games, as well as other motor skills activities and snack are offered.
Just starting an infant playgroup on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30 at the UPCM geared towards new mothers. Each week a new topic which pertains to parenting an infant will be presented and discussed. This playgroup will give moms an opportunity to interact with one another as well as learn new activities to do with their new baby.
You can register to attend one, or both, weekly sessions. Cost is $12 per month (one session per week). Please call the Marquette General Women's & Children's Center at (906) 225-3081 for more information or to register.
