MGHS hosting open forum on Parkinson's Disease

Michigan Parkinson Initiative open Forum

The Michigan Parkinson Initiative, in cooperation with Marquette General Hospital and the Michigan Parkinson Foundation Support Groups in Negaunee, Escanaba and Calumet, will hold an OPEN FORUM: “Update on Parkinson’s Disease” and a Multidisciplinary Second Opinion Clinic as a part of a statewide effort to provide improved access for people with Parkinson’s disease and healthcare providers with the latest information and technology at a local level.

The Open Forum is free to the public and will be held:

John Goudreau, D.O., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Departments of Neurology & Ophthalmology and Pharmacology and Toxicology, Michigan State University, will be presenting this talk on the latest developments in managing Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Goudreau is a movement disorders specialist, clinician, educator and researcher at Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Goudreau is an active member of the Michigan Parkinson Foundation Professional Advisory Board.

The Michigan Parkinson Initiative is a collaboration of the neurology departments at Michigan State University, University of Michigan, and Wayne State University medical schools, St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Henry Ford Health System William Beaumont Hospital and the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
