MGHS offering free memory screening
Clinics in Escanaba and Gladstone
Marquette General Health System clinics in Delta County will offer four free memory screenings designed to raise awareness among older adults and their caregivers about memory loss and normal aging, and the signs, symptoms and need for early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.
The screenings will be held Friday, November 8, at the Marquette Medical Clinic - Gladstone; Tuesday, November 13, at the Delta County Senior Center in Escanaba; Friday, November 16, at Doctor’s Park Family Practice Suite 201 in Escanaba; and North Shore Internal Medicine in Escanaba. If screening results indicate a need for further testing, patients will be advised to see their doctor.
The memory screenings are supported by a grant from the Community Foundation for Delta County.
