Marquette General offering reduced-rate mammograms during October
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time for women to recognize the importance of breast self-exams and annual mammograms.
To encourage women to receive yearly check-ups and mammograms, Marquette General Hospital and Excalibur Medical Imaging are teaming up to offer reduced-rate mammograms with interpretation during October. The total cost for a bilateral mammogram with interpretation is $50. A written order from a physician is required to schedule a mammogram.
Mammograms will be offered at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette Medical Clinic – Escanaba, Doctors Park Family Physicians and Marquette Medical Clinic – Kingsford.
