MGH Volunteers announce Third Annual Lights of Love program
Tree lighting ceremony December 10
In conjunction with the holiday season, the Marquette General Hospital Volunteers cordially invite the community to join them in their third annual “Lights of Love” tree lighting ceremony. The official tree lighting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 10 at 7 p.m., on the corner of College Avenue and 7th Street in Marquette. Refreshments will be served following the program in the Neldberg Lobby.
This fund-raising event provides a special opportunity to honor and remember family, friends and loved ones by placing a light on a living tree located at MGH. A donation of $5 or more for each name reserves a light to memorialize a loved one, honor a relative or friend, or celebrate a birth. Names will be displayed in the Neldberg Lobby during the holiday season and placed in a permanent memory book. Lights will continue to shine throughout the month of December.
Your entire gift to the MGH Volunteers Lights of Love program will benefit Volunteer projects such as the Hospitality Program, Wig Salon, Health Information Center, Beacon House and equipment for Nursing Units.
To purchase a light, brochures are available at the MGH Gift Shop or by calling the Volunteer Office at (906) 225-3280 or 1-800-562-9753, ext. 3280.

Pictured from left in front of the ceremony tree are Karol Pokley, MGH Volunteer Services director; A. Gary Muller, FACHE, Marquette General Health System president and CEO; and Carolyn Severson, MGH Volunteer Services chief volunteer officer.
