In conjunction
with the holiday season, the Marquette General Hospital Volunteers
cordially invite the community to join them in their first ever
“Lights of Love” tree lighting ceremony. The official
tree lighting will be held on Wednesday, December 6th at 7 p.m.
at the corner of College Avenue and 7th Street in Marquette. Refreshments
will be served following the program.
This inaugural fund-raising event provides an opportunity for
people to remember, honor or celebrate loved ones by reserving
lights in their names. A donation of $5.00 or more for each name
reserves a light to memorialize a loved one; honor a relative
or friend; or celebrate a birth. Names will be displayed in the
Neldberg Lobby during the holiday season and placed in a permanent
memory book.
To purchase a light, brochures are available at the MGH
Gift Shop or by calling the Volunteer
Office at 906-225-3280 or 1-800-562-9753, extension 3280.
The Lights
of Love donation form can also be downloaded
from the Marquette General website.
