Lakewood Medical Associates welcomes two family medicine specialists,
both U.P. natives
Family Medicine Specialists Dr. Jennifer Dehlin and Dr. Emily Godec have joined Lakewood Medical Associates and the medical staff of Marquette General Health System. Drs. Dehlin and Godec join Dr. Stuart Johnson at Lakewood Medical Associates.
As family medicine specialists, Drs. Dehlin and Godec provide comprehensive obstetrical services and care for families though every stage of life - from prenatal care through delivery, infancy, childhood, adolescence, young adulthood and advanced age.
A native of Houghton and graduate of Houghton High School, Dr. Dehlin is board eligible in family medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at the Marquette Family Medicine Residency Program. She earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan, and her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Michigan Technological University. She is married to Christopher Dehlin, MD, and has one child, Samuel. Dr. Dehlin is the daughter of Dr. Glenn and Mrs. Gail Mroz of Houghton.
A native of Marquette and graduate of Marquette Senior High School, Dr. Godec is board eligible in family medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at the Marquette Family Medicine Residency Program. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University - College of Human Medicine, completing her clinical years at the Upper Peninsula Campus. Dr. Godec earned her undergraduate degree in environmental conservation and human physiology from Northern Michigan University. She is married to Scott Medlyn, and is the daughter of Gerald and Kathleen Godec of Marquette.
