The Women’s and Children’s Center
at Marquette General Health System is the proud recipient of funding
from the Kohl’s Cares for Kid’s Program.
At a ceremony held at a Car Seat Safety Clinic
at Snyder’s Drug Store in Harvey, Kohl’s of Marquette
representatives presented a check for more than $21,000 to Women’s
and Children’s Center Program Director Connie Koutouzos.
Kohl’s supports the program through the
sale of selected store items (books and plush toys) four times
per year, with 100 percent of the program’s net sales profits
being donated to the Women’s and Children’s Center
at Marquette General.
In the past two years since opening in Marquette,
Kohl’s has donated more than $30,000 to the Women’s
and Children’s Center. Koutouzos said the financial support
from Kohl’s will complement services offered by the Women’s
& Children’s Center, which includes Pediatrics,
Children’s Specialty Clinics, Community Education Programs,
the Family Birthing Center, and the Regional Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU).
