MGHS welcomes neurosurgeon Dr. Paul Jensen
Escanaba native will begin seeing patients on June 1
Neurosurgeon
Dr. Paul Jensen has joined Northern Neurosurgery Group, PC, and
is on active staff of Marquette General
Health System.

Dr. Paul Jensen
An Escanaba native, Dr. Jensen is board certified in neurosurgery
and plastic surgery. He comes to Marquette General from Wausau
Spine and Neurosciences
in Wausau, Wis. Prior to that, he was in private practice, specializing in
plastic surgery in Marquette.
Dr. Jensen performed his neurosurgery training at Ohio State University in
Columbus, Ohio, and at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
He completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship with Dr. Claes Lauritzen at
the University of Gothenburg in Gothenburg, Sweden, as well as plastic surgery
and general surgery residencies at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa,
Wis. He completed an internship at Upper Peninsula Medical Education in Marquette.
Her earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and
owns an undergraduate degree from Michigan Tech University.
Dr. Jensen has had a number of articles published professionally. He holds
memberships to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American
Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Jensen sees patients upon referral, and is planning to provide outreach
clinics in Ironwood and Escanaba.
