Jacob Guter has been named Director of Facilities Management at Marquette General Health System.

As Director of Facilities Management, Guter is responsible for planning and construction, grounds keeping, maintenance, clinical engineering and signage.
Guter has earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Detroit, and is a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager by the American Hospital Association.
Employed at MGHS since 2000, Guter has held the position of Chief Facility Planner/Architect.
Guter is a board member for the Marquette Kiwanis Club, and is a City of Marquette Planning Commissioner. He is also Chairmen of UP Childrens Museum Board of Directors, and a board member for Propylon Housing.
Guter resides in Marquette with his wife and two children.
