MGHS
departments contribute to heating assistance programs
The Clinical
Engineering and Maintenance Departments at Marquette General Hospital
have made meaningful donations to the Salvation Army and St. Vincent
de Paul. The staff in the two departments collected soda can money
for 10 months, with the intent on providing monetary help for
the heating assistance programs at both local organizations.

In the photo,
Brett Young, far left, Director of Clinical Engineering and Maintenance
at Marquette General, presents a check to Walter Sleeter, ministry
assistant for the Salvation Army, while Virgil Pokorski, far right,
Supervisor of Maintenance, presents a check to Mel Daley, district
president of St. Vincent de Paul. The money raised was divided
evenly between the two organizations, with each receiving $106.50
from Marquette General. (MGH photo)
