Emergency Medicine physician joins Marquette General medical staff
Emergency Medicine physician Dr. David Grant has joined the medical staff and Level II Trauma Center team of Marquette General Hospital and Emergency Medicine Associates of Marquette.
Dr. Grant joins Kevin Aston, DO; James R. Addison, MD; Robin D. Cook, MD; T. Scott Emerson, MD; Scott M. Hagle, MD; Jeffrey M. Shipkey, DO; Donald E. Snowdon, MD; Andrew Stevens, MD; Richard L. Tomacari, DO; and Steven J. Verbridge, DO at Emergency Medicine Associates of Marquette.

Dr. David Grant
As an emergency medicine specialist, Dr. Grant provides treatment for all trauma, and any life or limb-threatening situations, as well as medical problems of an urgent nature. Emergency specialists stabilize critically ill or injured patients and determine what subspecialty care is needed. Emergency physicians are also responsible for pre-hospital care including the supervision of paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) before the patient reaches the hospital.
Dr. Grant has provided outreach healthcare and emergency department work in Temuco, Chile and Hobart, Australia.
Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Grant completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Ariz. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Ore.
