Ex-Packer Blaise Winter appearing at ‘In the Game’
Sports Medicine Conference on Friday, Oct. 14
A former

his personal story of triumph over adversity. He crisscrosses
the country, speaking to groups and sharing the secrets to his
success.
The conference is scheduled to be held from 2 to 5 p.m.
on Friday, Oct. 14, in the Marquette General Conference
Center. Winter will speak from 3 to 4:15 p.m. on “The Use
of Steroids and Drug Enhancements: How They Adversely Affect Our
Youth.”
The conference kicks off at 2:15 p.m. with Julie Rochester, a
certified athletic trainer from Northern Michigan University,
addressing “Overuse Injuries in Children and Adolescents.”
Following Winter’s presentation, Dr.
John Lehtinen and an MGHS panel will discuss, “Common
Sports Injuries — Our Number is 3-1-8-6, Call Us When You

hit home with those who attend. It’s an honor to have an
ex-NFL player like Winter join us.”
