MGH offering new “Fitness for Less” class

The Upper Michigan Rehabilitation Center at Marquette General Health System has room remaining for the next “Fitness for Less” class beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The eight-week, adult-centered program will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the outpatient Sports Rehab gym, located on the third floor of the RCN Building on College Avenue. The 4 p.m. class begins on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The program consists of: a comprehensive evaluation; 16 fitness sessions; eight nutrition sessions; a personalized fitness program customized to benefit one’s goals; sample meal plans and suggested food items; a fitness log in which one can track his/her progress; and opportunities for weigh-ins and body-fat measurements.

“Fitness for Less” is a personal fitness, nutritional and weight-loss program tailored to meet individual needs. Fitness for Less helps an individual get on track to achieving weight loss, toning his/her body, and increasing his/her knowledge of nutritional needs.
