Marquette General Health System School of Radiography signs affiliation agreement with Finlandia University
Students interested in healthcare careers will now have another option available in the Upper Peninsula. Finlandia University and the Marquette General Health System School of Radiography have signed an affiliation agreement. This new affiliation between Finlandia University and the MGHS School of Radiography will offer students an associate degree’s in radiography.
Students complete the required pre-requisite courses at Finlandia University and then apply for acceptance into the MGHS School of Radiography. Once accepted, students complete five semesters and are then eligible to take the licensure examination. The cycle of entrance and graduation repeats itself every year.
The MGHS School of Radiography has remained in the top 90 percent or above scoring range for licensure examination out of 624 radiography programs in the U.S. This places the program at the top six percent of the nation. The MGHS School of Radiography is an educational program founded in 1979 that encourages talented and dedicated individuals to pursue careers in radiography. To prepare students, the school provides a high-quality curriculum that presents a broad didactic component, comprehensive clinical practicum and an environment that instills professional affective skills.
The MGHS School of Radiography also partners with Northern Michigan University. Finlandia University is an accredited, private, not-for-profit institution of higher learning affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Located in Hancock, Michigan.
