Cardiac Electrophysiologist joins the Marquette General Hospital medical staff

Electrophysiology cardiologist Dr. Rudolph Evonich joins the medical staff of Marquette General Hospital and Upper Michigan Cardiovascular Associates, PC.

Dr. Evonich joins Gail Brayden, MD; James Christiansen, MD; Mark Cowan, MD; Gary Friesen, MD; Nelson Gencheff, DO; William Jean, MD; Thomas LeGalley, MD; John Pap, MD; David Pesola, MD; Raymond Wood, DO, Curtis Marder, MD, and Douglas Baldwin, MD, at Upper Michigan Cardiovascular Associates, PC.

As an electrophysiology cardiologist, Dr. Evonich evaluates and manages heart patients with complex rhythm or conduction abnormalities. He uses complex mapping techniques to determine abnormalities, which helps guide appropriate therapy. Modern treatment options may include electronic devices such as advanced pacing systems.

Dr. Evonich is board eligible in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and board certified in internal medicine. He completed his cardiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. His internal medicine residency and medical degree were completed at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Mich.

A native of Manistique, Mich., Dr. Evonich will provide outreach clinics across the Upper Peninsula.
