Escanaba neurologist providing EMG testing
Neurologist Harsh W. Singh, MD, is now providing electromyography
and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS) at North
Shore Internal Medicine in Escanaba and at the Rural Health
Clinic in the Manistique Medical Center.

EMG/NCS testing can be used to diagnose many diseases and conditions,
including muscular dystrophy, inflammation of muscles, pinched
nerves, peripheral nerve damage, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
(ALS), radiculopathy and others.
Dr. Singh is a member of Neurology
Associates of Marquette and practices full time at North Shore
Internal Medicine. Dr. Singh is on staff at St. Francis Hospital
and the Upper
Michigan Neuroscience Center at Marquette General Health System.
Dr. Singh provides diagnosis and treatment of sleep and muscle
disorders, epilepsy, brain and spinal cord tumors, multiple sclerosis,
stroke and Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Singh came to Escanaba in 2004 after having worked as a clinical
instructor in epilepsy research at RCSI Beaumont Hospital in Dublin,
Ireland. He has a varied and substantial work history in neurological
disciplines.
He completed neurology residencies at the University of Missouri
in Columbia, Mo., at the University of Miami in Miami; and the
University of Louisville in Louisville.
Dr. Singh did a fellowship in neurophysiology and sleep medicine
at the University of Missouri. He earned his medical degree from
Semmelwise University of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Singh
is Board eligible in neurology and sleep medicine.
